Calearo, the name of the Group, is first of all the name of the family who created it half a century ago: a name for dynamic research combined with common sense and with the experience of the finest industrialisation.

Founded in 1957 by Alessio and Lucia Calearo for bycicle bell production, the Company started soon to specialize in automobile antennae: in 1967 the first electric antenna was produced and in 1990 an innovative antenna for vehicle mobile telephones was invented, up to the recent multi-functional model (radio, telephone, satellite and TV).

As a further proof of the recognition gained by the Group, the Chairman Massimo Calearo, ever and always an active member of local institutions and associations, has held office for several years now in the National and International Manufacturers' Associations.
